張文暐，1954年生於花蓮，國立藝專（今國立臺灣藝術大學）美術科畢業，返鄉任教於玉里高中。進修國立台灣師範大學工藝研究所。美術教育績優，獲「師鐸獎」。及花蓮縣頒「美術薪傳獎」

張文暐將絹印、版畫與蠟染融入創作，展現層次豐富的藝術語彙。其題材深植花蓮鄉土：山川溪流、庶民生活、工藝與自然風物，既承載成長記憶，也是創作泉源。透過蠟染的塗蠟、染色與煮畫，他將外部景觀與內在感受交織，讓時間與視線層疊流轉。作品風格素雅靜謐，既有土地的厚實，也捕捉光影與色彩的流動，引領觀者在日常與精神之間，感受深藏的詩意瞬間。

Wen Wei Chang integrates silkscreen, printmaking, and batik into his practice, creating layered and nuanced forms. Rooted in the landscapes and folk life of Hualien—its mountains, rivers, crafts, and natural scenes—his works draw on both cultural memory and personal experience. Through batik’s process of waxing, dyeing, and boiling, Chang interweaves external scenery with inner emotion, where time and vision overlap. His style is understated yet profound, carrying the solidity of the land and the quietness of reflection. In his paintings, shifting light and color reveal the poetics of everyday life, inviting viewers to encounter moments that are at once ordinary and deeply resonant.
