張驊的創作回應數位環境的擴展與VR、AI的興起,探討虛擬與現實的交界。他以「沙盒環境」為概念,象徵圖像化、開放性與無限重組的可能。透過繪畫實踐,他反覆描繪景物,使其回歸記憶參照,並發展出層層浮動的圖形。筆觸強化、碎片化視覺與素描痕跡,使畫面在變形與破碎中推進,迫使觀者生成個人的整體詮釋,體驗虛擬與真實交織下的多重感知。
Hua Chang’s work responds to the rise of VR and AI, exploring the shifting boundaries between virtual and real. Adopting the concept of the “sandbox environment,” his practice reflects openness, modularity, and endless recomposition. Through painting, he repeatedly depicts imagery until it reverts to intuitive memory references, developing layered, floating forms. By intensifying brushstrokes, fragmenting vision, and emphasizing sketch-like traces, he pushes structures to emerge through distortion and rupture. In this process, viewers are compelled to construct their own interpretations, encountering a dynamic field where the virtual and the tangible converge, and perception itself becomes an active, generative act.
