洪世聰的創作圍繞「視而浮現」,探索攝影「後」的可能。他以「少即是多」的思維進行減法,解構原本的空間影像,讓日常環境中的物件在遮蔽與轉化後浮現新的感知。這些「現成之物」成為時間痕跡的載體,既是符號也是器官般的象徵,指向觀看與意識的重構。洪世聰的作品不僅是影像的再現,更是透過去除與轉化,引導觀者進入對時間、符號與心靈的深層思索。
Shih-Tsung Hung’s practice centers on the concept of “emergence through seeing,” probing what lies beyond photography. Guided by a “less is more” philosophy, he employs subtraction to deconstruct spatial images, allowing everyday objects to reappear through concealment and transformation. These ready-made presences become traces of time—symbols that resonate like organs, embodying both materiality and metaphor. For Hung, the act of seeing is less about representation than about reconstruction, where vision triggers new perceptions and reveals the interplay between time, symbols, and consciousness. His works invite viewers into a contemplative space where subtraction itself becomes a generative force.
