蔡獻友的繪畫在理性與非理性之間不斷拉扯，最初由專注理性推動，卻總在過程中甩開控制，回歸作品本身的姿態。「飛起來的湖錯」系列取材自青藏高原神秘的湖泊，轉化為無意識的渾沌旋渦，融合時間、空間、物質與心靈的層次。透過顏料與材質的張力，他讓物質在畫布上展現自我話語，保有「野性」的獨立性。作品既是文化層疊的探掘，也是心靈意識的超越，為觀者開啟一座微縮卻深邃的世界。

Hsien Yiu Tsai’s paintings unfold in the tension between reason and instinct. Though guided by rational focus, his works often slip beyond control, taking on a life of their own. In the series Flying Lakes, inspired by the enigmatic waters of the Tibetan Plateau, Tsai channels unconscious vortices that merge time, space, matter, and spirit. Through the primal energy of his materials, paint itself speaks with a raw independence, retaining its “wildness.” His canvases become layered terrains of culture and psyche, where substance reflects both microcosmic worlds and transcendent states of awareness, inviting viewers into an experience of nature’s infinity and spiritual resonance.
